Today, I added the Colorado Forestry Association name to a letter that started with the National Woodland Owners Association. The letter will be submitted to the House and Senate this week. To read the main points of the letter click here.


State Senators Steve King and Cheri Jahn have announced their intention to introduce legislation to create a state fleet of fire fighting aircraft.

The Colorado Forestry Association considers the proposal to be the wrong response to last year's record fire season.

The Colorado Forestry Association (CFA) is the Colorado chapter of the National Woodland Owners Association.  Founded in 1884, its original mission was to support conservation, management and renewal of forests through forestry legislation, public education and creation of forest reserves.
