Description: The The role of weather in wildland fire behavior with Mike Baker, National Weather Service, Boulder.
Description: The Roaring Fork Biomass Consortium (RFBC) was formed in May of 2010 through the partnership of five local non-profit organizations: For The Forest, The Aspen Global Change Institute, The Community Office for Resource Efficiency, Flux Farm Foundation, and The Sopris Foundation. Together, this group applied for a woody biomass feasibility study grant from the Colorado Governor's Energy Office. The RFBC was awarded a ~ $20,000 grant that then leveraged a ~ $100,000 study. The Roaring Fork Regional Biomass Summit marks the completion of this study. The RFBC's findings will be shared along with presentations from the leading experts and policy makers in the biomass field. Please join us for an afternoon of cutting edge conversation!
